Text messaging

If you opt in to receive SMS text messages from PLM, the following applies:

• We do not sell, rent, or share your mobile phone number with third parties for promotional or marketing purposes.
• Message frequency varies. You can expect approximately 2-5 messages per month, with additional messages during active weather events or urgent property situations.
• Message and data rates may apply. Check with your wireless carrier for details about your messaging plan.
• You may opt out of text messages at any time by replying STOP to any message. After opting out, you will receive a single confirmation message. No further messages will be sent unless you re-subscribe.

How we protect your information

We use industry-standard security measures to protect your personal information, including encrypted connections (HTTPS), secure authentication, and access controls limited to authorized PLM staff.

Third-party services

We use the following third-party services in the course of our operations:

• Microsoft 365 for email communications
• Cloudflare for website hosting and security
• Twilio for SMS text messaging

These providers have their own privacy policies. We do not share your information with any other third parties except as required by law.

Data retention

We retain your personal information for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this policy, comply with legal obligations, and resolve disputes. Association records are retained in accordance with Florida statutory requirements.
